God is good, no matter the season you’re in.
Have You?
Have you ever felt like you were blessed, felt God was protecting you, healing you, and you could feel His love surrounding you? Yet.. you still found yourself on occasion in this swamp of mental exhaustion sometimes? Feeling as if you were in this never ending cycle of circumstances around you that just seemed to be so draining? We All Have Our Seasons..
This year has been one of the most challenging... vulnerable years of my life. This year I have been faced with many obstacles that I would’ve never imagined going through. Which I’m sure many others can relate to. This year for many has been filled with disappointing news, unemployment, immorality, confusion, sickness, and exhaustion. For me, one obstacle I have had to bear this year would be the state of my health. This year alone I have acquired two auto immune diseases and have had a series of physically exhausting days of weakness. I am blessed that God has allowed me to find the light and goodness in my circumstances even though I have had moments where they were not so good. Through God’s promises, His peace and His healing abilities, I have been able to stand firm in my faith even as my health has taken its turns. Although I do feel much better, the state of my health is still not where it should be and it is vulnerable. Which is why more than ever, I find myself praying for God to continue to give me hope and strength in the season I am in. Along with the season that our world is in. It’s disheartening to watch and hear of the millions of people in our world facing sickness and more distressing circumstances than I am. With the continuous surge of sickness in our world, many have loss their hope for the future and loss their faith in what God is capable of doing. Which is one of the many reasons, I have decided to share the journey of my life. In hopes to help others turn their eyes to Christ even in the midst of the world around them.
Words of Encouragement
I share this today, to let someone know.. you’re not the only one who may feel drained and exhausted.
I have to remind myself, that God’s plans don’t change based on my current circumstances. God has a plan for this season we are all in. Whether if it is filled with pain, confusion or joy. Being a believer, doesn’t mean your life won’t be filled with hard times, it means that even in your hard times God is going to remain in.. and with you. Although it may be hard to see the light in this tunnel you may be going through. God will remain next to you.. showing you the way and holding your hand as you go through it.
